This getaway happened in May and in fact, I was hesitant to post this because I made a short post about what we did in Hale Manna and why we traveled there from Oslob. But I thought it was such a waste not to post these photos so I decided to just make a post and put up here the photos I had taken when we were in the said resort.

And so guys, here's my photo blog of Hale Manna:

Flowers you can see around the resort. It was around six in the morning when I woke up and I didn't waste any minutes because I want to capture the beauty of the resort from that moment. My little one was still sleeping and the family-in-law was outside just talking to each other. I asked permission from my husband that I will go out and walk with my camera. The plants and flowers greeted me with absolute beauty!

I started the walk at the main entry gate, the flowers and trees here were mostly taken nearby the entrance. The place was quiet and peaceful, it was just so beautiful to hear nothing but the music of the birds singing. Then I arrived at the lobby building. They got rooms here too!

The lobby also has a restaurant and they got this alfresco dining area with a beautiful ancestral window design. The doors were kind of European-inspired. I decided to go inside to check further because the inside looked dark from the outside.

This is what greeted me as I entered the building. Look at the walls, they are like limestones and there's art at the top wall showing corals, sea creatures and more which I believe depicts what this town can give to the world - underwater!

And as I went inside, here were what can be seen from the lobby:

How do you like it? As you can see, it's quite a combination of many things. There were lounges, native chairs, and couches with comfortable foams in them, but what really stood out for me was the limestone wall! I know limestones are expensive and this house had a whole building with its wall made of it.

Here's an entertainment area just at the adjacent area of the building. The sunlight shines over the billiard table! I bet this would be an enjoyable place for a group of friends!

I went out and walked towards the garden, it has a nice pathway and I took a photo of it of course. There were birds flying over me at that time of the day so I was walking fast so I could catch them in them just on the tree branches.

But I looked back and saw that this area here looks pretty too! So I went into the garden, the grounds looked like it was newly trimmed!

Moving a little further gave me this view:

And as I was walking further, stopped nearby a tree, and then, someone came to say hello! I am super happy that I was able to capture this little bird that just landed on this tree branch.

From the garden, there are buildings on the sides and I believe there were people checked in there because of the slippers outside of the doors. I looked at my right and saw the beauty of the cottages:

I always like cottages with white curtains on them, it feels relaxing especially when there's wind blowing it. In Hale Manna, there are cottages that can be rented for a whole day's use. They even have a second floor with foam in them. Most of the cottages have tables and chairs for those walk-in visitors and guests.

They got a lot of cottages, from where I was standing, there were around four and then there were farther to the other side for massage too.

Kayaks are also available. For those who are checked in, it can be used for free while day-use guests can pay a rental fee. We had used the kayaks twice, on our first day and our second day as well. It was fun, Matti even liked it and was not afraid when he was riding it with my husband.

Perhaps my favorite part of this place is this viewing deck which gives guests a wide view of the sea with a facade of Negros Island. That morning, the island was clear from that viewing point. There were also fishermen going home from their night shift. There's a ship as well opposite the resort.

The guests were also out that morning for their morning swim! The beach was a bit high tide that morning, the other day, we had a shoot for Zia's 3rd birthday. She was a mermaid, her birthday will be on the 18th and I will share with you our quick photoshoot soon!

The other side of the resort shows a rocky one. Unfortunately, after the typhoon last 2021, the resort lost its white sand. It used to have a seasonal white sand beach but now, it has totally lost it and what's left were boulders of rock scattered across the resort's seafront.

Others might not be able to appreciate it but this is still beautiful, for me!

I truly adore these turtle-designed cement pathways they made! It's really cute!
