Changi Airport, Jewel, and Matti

On October 2022, we traveled to Singapore. It was our first time traveling internationally as a family of three but we also tagged my parents who are seniors! It was a challenging trip having a toddler and seniors, but it also had its advantages. I liked how chill we were in our itineraries.

These photos show some of the snaps at Changi Airport terminal 1. We arrived in Singapore past eight in the evening, we went through immigration which was quite fast as they have many officers around. An Indian national entertained us and he was very friendly to Matti.

Coming from immigration, we headed down to where I had to claim the ordered sim cards for our stay in Singapore. It is important that we have access to the internet even if we know that Singapore is filled with many free hotspots all around the country, it is still convenient to have a sim card with an internet connection for the four of us.

I claimed it at one of the counters in the waiting area in Terminal 1. I also found that Jewel is just across Terminal 1 so we took that opportunity to watch the light show and just appreciate the beauty of this one-of-a-kind spot. I believe that it is the only one in the whole world!

We were at the Shiseido Forest Valley while watching the light show. We got to stay a little distant from the waterfall so we won't get wet. We also can appreciate the beauty of the light show from afar. Also, there were so many people! They come and go and most of them were pushing on carts!

Our group informed us that the bus which will take us to the hotel will be late so we had an ample amount of time to roam around and explore the terminal. Matti was very active at this time, he kept on running around going from one bench to another, even going to the cafes nearby and pointing to their menu. It was safe though as most of the ground was carpeted.

He met his friends too like Kuya Ziv and little Cavin! They are children of my husband's groupmates. It's quite fun that all three of them now have children. They started working together for more than five years now.
