Back in April, my family joined the Worship Camp as volunteers, Matti was no exception although, during the entire four days, he was just being cute.
During that camp, we met families who are also serving the Lord together and that includes Pastor Ive and his wife Phoebe and their daughter, Lily. Pastor Ive is a professional drummer who serves as the drums coach in the Just Worship. His wife Phoebe leads worship and Lily is just being a good big sister to the little ones who are at the camp including Matti.
After the said camp, we decided to go together to South Farm and then headed to Bohol Bee Farm before they went back to Manila. They are super sweet and very friendly, I can truly see how they love the Lord and how they are dedicating their lives to God's glory. I am also very blessed to hear their testimonies and how they became what they are now because of God's faithfulness.
I also learned about their heartbreaks and their struggles in health and life but even if they had those challenges, they still continue to serve God and be a blessing to others and so I am really happy to have met this family especially Lily who was really a bubbly little girl.
We went to Bee Farm and they truly appreciated our gesture of showing them around, we tried their ice cream of course but we also were able to have a glimpse of how the ice cream is made, the farm also has a bakery and they got the walls transparent so the visitors and guests can see the bakers as they make their pastries.
Aside from that, we were able to also see their staff doing actual weaving. They have weaved products available on the farm and are also sold to customers at their souvenir shop.
Our last tour of the farm was in their garden. Unfortunately, they don't have bees anymore in this area, they had migrated them to another farm. I will have to look forward to their announcement if they'll let visitors see the bees in the other farm because I want Matti to see them making their honey and all.
Finally, we had dinner and we talked about a lot of things. We are glad the food was good as always. I am happy that my first time to be in Bohol Bee Farm was spent with the Villanuevas.
