Plac Nowy Flea Market

Kraków, Poland
#MarketFriday

Happy Friday folks! Hope you had a nice week. Today I would like to create a post for the #MarketFriday initiative, launched by @dswigle.

While I was in Kraków, Poland for @steemfest 3, I took some time to walk around and explore the medieval city. I stumbled upon a weekend Flea Market at the Plac Nowy square. It was busy with people buying and selling goods from the pop-up vending stations.

Vendors were selling clothing from scarves, jackets and mittens, to fancy hats and shoes. There were many vendors selling beaded jewelry and fashion accessories as you can see in the photo above and below.

Like most flea markets, it was a bit overwhelming walking through the place. Very tight corners with loads of people scurrying around looking for something to buy. I did not end up buying any products at the flea market, but I did a fair amount of browsing.

Below is a rack of fur coats that was for sale. I'm not quite sure if these were made from real animal fur or not, but one thing I know about flea markets is most things are counterfeit.

Overall, it was a cool experience walking through this bustling Polish market.
