Back in the days when I used to live in Cebu, I always got the chance to visit the Kawasan Waterfalls. Kawasan Waterfalls is located in Badian, Cebu.
How to reach Kawasan Falls?
From the Cebu South Bus Terminal, all you need is to find a bus going to Badian or say to go to Kawasan Falls. The people at the bus terminal will help you suggest the right bus for you. You can go on an aircon bus or the normal bus.
As far as I remember, there were three stages of the waterfalls. To reach this natural private jacuzzi, was on the 3rd stage.
People come here just wearing slippers but I suggest wearing nice trekking shoes. I used my purple Skechers shoes which right now are ruined at the moment but I can still wear them.
Where I used to stay in the South of Cebu?
I usually stay in Moalboal, Cebu because I love to go snorkeling and do the sardine run. Going to the Kawasan Falls can be a good side trip. It is also nice to rent a motorbike or a scooter for a day to go to Kawasan Falls.
There are so many things to do around the south of Cebu but I highly recommend you should visit the waterfalls. There are other waterfalls in another town, as well.
