Hi, Pinmapple community! Here I am again for another travel article. This time I'll bring you to Enchanted Kingdom, a theme park in the Philippines which is located in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
As someone who grew up in Cebu, we never had a theme park like Disneyland. And the nearest theme park we could experience was going to Manila and having a side trip to Laguna to experience the Enchanted Kingdom.
My first trip to Enchanted Kingdom happened in 2012 with a friend but my camera was old and I couldn't find the old photos somewhere. After 2 years, in 2014, another set of friends and I decided to visit. It was their first time but I wouldn't mind paying another visit.
From Pasig, we went to Alabang, booked a ticket on the spot and took the EK Shuttle service. Right now, you can book a ticket through Klook - Enchanted Kingdom ticket and it could be cheaper.
We wasted no time and we got there as early as possible. It took us 2 hours to get there from Pasig to Santa Rosa, Laguna.
Welcome to Enchanted Kingdom
The Grand Carousel
When we got inside, this was the first we saw like a grand entrance to the Grand Carousel.
Ekstreme Tower Ride
But this was our first ride because we love the thrill. This is a drop tower from 120 feet.
Roller Skater
This was also fun like it's a mini roller coaster.
Anchor's Away
Omg, this was so funny. We heard people screaming before we got in and we also screamed during our ride. We laughed all the time.
Jungle Log Jam
Space Shuttle
We never dared to try this because we were so scared. We skipped.
Lunchtime
We were so hungry, that I ordered a buko milkshake while we were waiting for our burgers.
My friend ordered some Dairy Queen ice creams because we never had this in Cebu.
Looking at the map, we were planning where to go next.
Taking photos around before we went for another ride
Since we were full, we just took a break. We paused to give time for our stomachs to digest. We don't want to throw up.
We were planning to take a Ferris wheel ride in the evening.
Flying Fiesta
After our little break, we took this ride. It was so fun we were flying.
Rio Grande Rapids
OMG, we found this as the best ride experience ever. We were all wet all over again. We were so worried because we didn't bring extra clothes. Also, I was bringing my DSLR camera while riding this. Fortunately, never had the chance to be wet. Whew!
Hahaha, we were 80% wet.
We took a lot of photos for our remembrance of how fun and wet we were on this ride.
Walking around at the Fifth Avenue Books
It felt like were in the United States. It was fun to take photos here.
The Grand Central Station
It felt like New York City. They copied some of the iconic places in New York.
Brooklyn Apartments
We were in Brooklyn, New York.
Rialto
It was sunset, we passed by here because the lights were so nice. With my Nikon D5100, we were so happy with the images.
Good job Nikon D5100. :D
Swan Lake
After sunset, we decided to chill in the Swan Lake.
Wheel of Fate
Here comes the Ferris Wheel ride. It was a good decision to do this in the evening because we had the chance to see the city lights from upstairs.
Our view from the Ferris Wheel.
We could see the city lights outside of Enchanted Kingdom.
Of course, let me take a selfie. I love the bokeh background.
Eldar the Wizard
The mascot of Enchanted Kingdom
According to their website:
ELDAR
THE WIZARD
Eldar the wizard is the beloved character of Enchanted Kingdom. He is a jolly, old wizard in the faraway land of Marsynthea.
Nobody knows his age or where he came from, but for many, many years and generations thereof, Eldar took great care of this land, nurturing all the plants and animals. He teaches children to uphold virtues of kindness, humility, patience, honesty, diligence, generosity, and love of God and family. His dream is to share joy, love, and magic with everyone.

The end of our Enchanted Kingdom experience
It was an amazing experience as we got the chance to feel like kids. My friends and I were saying that hopefully, we could visit Disneyland theme parks.
