Back in December 2013, my college friends and I decided to have an adventure getaway. One friend suggested that we should go to Danasan Eco Adventure Park. Since I was always on the go, I joined in right away. Since I got my new D5100 camera, my friends were excited to have some adventures and funny photoshoots.
Since most of us are from the south of Cebu, we have to go to the northeast of Cebu. We had to go to the North Bus Terminal and find a bus going to Danao.
Having fun in the trampoline
When we saw a big trampoline, we jumped in right away. It was our first time to jump in a trampoline so we were just having fun with it. We were having a good and loud laugh.
Chill
After our breathtaking jumps, we decided to take a break. We need to save our energy for our next adventure.
The ATV Ride
Our first adventure was to do the ATV ride. I wasn't sure if the others were good bikers. But since this is a 4-wheel ride bike, we could be safe. But the first time I tried it, I lost control as it was so heavy. I learned my mistake though and I was able to control it.
Our views while dong the ATV ride
Some snapshots of having a good view during our ATV ride experience.
Group photo with the ATV ride
And of course, don't forget to have group photos. Hehe!
Our dirty feet after the ATV ride
We had so much fun that our feet were dirty. The most important tip here is to bring extra pairs of clean and dry shoes or slippers and extra clean clothes.
Caving
The adventure continues as we need to walk to our next destination.
We have to get inside this little hole of a cave.
Getting ready!
Getting inside the cave
Our tour guide assured me that he would take care of my Nikon D5100 camera. Uh oh!
As you can see, we were all smiles.
We got this nice frame!
Our tour guide was such a good photographer. He really managed not to have my camera getting wet.
The struggle was real
We enjoyed swimming in the cold water and thankful with our life jackets.
Stalactite
According to Wikipedia:
A stalactite (from the Greek stalaktos - "dripping") is a type of formation suspended from the ceiling of caves , underground passages , hot springs, or human constructions such as houses, bridges, mines, etc. Any material can form stalactites provided it can be soluble, or settle as a colloid , or be in suspension , or be molten.

Our funny faces how struggling it was to dock down. It was our first time to do the caving. Wearing helmets is a must.
We were just laughing and smiling. Although we were struggling, we asked our tour guide to always have good photos of us. He was a good director and he knew what he was doing with the camera. Nice framing, sir!
Stalagmite
According to Wikipedia:
A stalagmite is a speleothem of concretion that forms on the floor of caves and underground passages by the slow and continuous fall of water ( limestone or not) and by the " splash effect " of these.
When the stalagmite, continuing its slow growth, joins the stalactite which forms on the ceiling of the cave , the two concretions are gradually welded together and thus form a veritable stalagmitic pillar, or column.

Trying to find the exit
Well, seems like we were relaxing during this excursion. And we need to use the rope to get out of the cave.
We got out alive
Am I in heaven?
Whew! Such a relief! Look at our face! Hahaha! Tired but happy.
Chasing waterfalls
After caving, we enjoyed the waterfalls. Since we were wet, just enjoy our big shower without a soap. So, who needs a shower? We got the waterfalls all by ourselves.
Our tour guide sent us back to the reception area. We left our bags in a storage box. We got a ride going back as we were so tired.
Another tip: Don't forget to bring a towel ever. Hehe!
Having Dinner
From Danao City, we took a local jeepney going back to Mandaue City and had a stopover at Parkmall. We had KFC for dinner. After dinner, we had to go back to the south of Cebu.
The next day, we had fun uploading photos on Facebook. The other friends who never got the chance to join were jealous of the trip.
