Today I want to share a little treasure with you: some photos I've taken over the years of a place that is very dear to me. Sale Marasino is a tiny town, with just three thousand souls living there. And yet, for me, it is a place of immense value.
Since childhood, I've spent many summers here, running on the beach, diving into the fresh, clear waters of the lake. I still remember the smell of the salt air, the sound of the waves breaking on the shore, the laughter of the friends I played with.
Whenever I have the opportunity to go on holiday abroad, I love to explore the beauty that the world has to offer. Yet, there is one place that has a special place in my heart, and which I often mention but which seems to be unknown to many which is this beautiful country.
This place was once one of the summer residences of many noble Brescian families. Yet despite its history and beauty, it seems to have remained a hidden treasure. And whenever I have some free time, I can't resist the temptation to come here to spend a few days.
Fortunately, I have the good fortune to have my aunt who lives here, and she always hosts me with great affection. It is thanks to her that I can still enjoy this wonderful location, which seems to have remained unchanged over time.
There are places that have the power to capture our hearts, and for me Sale Marasino is definitely one of them. Every time I get the chance to come here, I am enveloped in a feeling of peace and serenity that makes me forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
But it's not just the breathtaking landscapes and the relaxing atmosphere that keep me coming back. There is also a top-level gastronomic offer, which is unmatched by the larger cities. Above all, I love stopping in the beautiful places that are located close to the lake shore, to enjoy excellent aperitifs.
Sitting at the table, with the sun caressing my skin and the gentle sound of the waves crashing on the shore, I feel truly blessed to be able to experience these moments. And yet, even when I'm far away, the beauty of Sale Marasino irresistibly calls me back.
Every time I go back to Sale Marasino, I am always surprised to discover new wonders. The last time I was here, I noticed a jetty being built right next to the shore, which seems to have become a very popular tourist attraction.
Personally, I didn't find much sense in this structure, which seems to disturb the tranquility of the shore. Still, I have to admit that the view from the pontoon is simply breathtaking. Your gaze gets lost in the infinite blue of Lake Iseo, while the fresh, clean air envelops your body.
It's amazing how such a small place can offer so many wonders. And yet, Sale Marasino has a charm of its own, which cannot be described in words but must be experienced. I am happy to know that it is very successful in terms of tourism, because it means that more and more people will have the opportunity to discover its beauty.
