Hi guys, unfortunately yesterday I couldn't share my usual post with you. I was very busy on a trip to the beautiful city of Modena, located in the province of Emilia Romagna. I'm sure many of you already know it, but for me it was a new discovery.
Because it was actually my first time in this city and I went there because I just started a course to become a sommelier, something I've wanted to do for a long time. I finally found some time to take this course, which technically shouldn't last that long, but which I find very interesting and fun. I have met some nice and passionate people during this course, and I look forward to continue learning and sharing my knowledge with others. The city of Modena is also famous for its cuisine and wines, so look forward to discovering all it has to offer.
The course I took was almost 7 hours long, I didn't think it would be that long, but at the same time I learned a lot. I was hoping to have even more time to discover the city of Modena, but despite this I took a quick walk around the center and was able to admire some of the beauties of the city. I don't know if I will have the opportunity to return to Modena in the future, as this course takes place in different Italian cities, but in the meantime I took some photos that I want to share with you. Even though my time was limited, I'm glad I had the opportunity to get to know this city a little more and hope to be able to return in the future to explore it further.
I must tell you that I was particularly impressed by Modena. I didn't think it had such a beautiful square and I discovered that it has several works that are UNESCO heritage. In addition to being very welcoming from a food and wine point of view, Modena is also a city rich in history and culture. Unfortunately I forgot to take some pictures of what I ate, but I can assure you that there are many local excellences to taste. Modena is also the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari, the man who invented the Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani and Stanguellini brands, and I think that for anyone who knows mechanics, this is really a cult destination. I highly recommend you visit Modena and enjoy all it has to offer.
However, it was interesting to do this quick tour of its routes. I had already seen something of this city in the past on TV, above all because the funeral of the famous Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti took place here and they were broadcast on TV, he lived here near Modena. I hope one day I can come back here and have more time to explore this place, because in my opinion there are so many things to see. By the way, I saw that there is also the Enzo Ferrari museum nearby and I think it is very interesting to visit. Furthermore, the fact that there is a great food and wine tradition and such a rich cultural heritage make Modena an unmissable destination for those who love to discover new cities and cultures.
I hope you enjoyed this short post of mine. I tried to share with you some snapshots of my daily life, of what I did yesterday. I hope you found it interesting and didn't bore you. Thank you for reading me and I hope to be able to share other adventures with you in the future. Soon!
