Hello guys, yesterday I made a pleasant discovery, I was on business near Naples, one of the most beautiful Italian cities from my point of view, and I had to meet an important client, but because of his delay, I had to invent something to do, and since I was a few kilometres from Naples in the area of Bacoli I went for a ride near Lake Fusaro, and by chance I discovered the Casina Vanvitelliana a beautiful place of Baroque architecture dating back to the time of the Bourbons when they ruled these lands.

These are the good things, of when a customer makes you wait, this place can be visited for a fee because I did not go inside, I got as far as the entrance, but to get inside you have to pay a €5 ticket, but the thing I discovered is that this beautiful place, which is connected by this beautiful walkway, was built by the son of the famous Luigi Vanvitelli the man who built the famous Reggia di Caserta, which I think a lot of people will have visited in their lifetime.

This place that I discovered is a beautiful romantic place In my opinion, I can already imagine the many copies that come here around sunset because in my opinion it is the perfect time to enjoy the magic of this beautiful place, among other things, the thing that struck me most of all, is that it must have been recently restored, because it is in excellent condition, and this is a bit 'amazes me, because when I come here in the area of Naples, sometimes I see situations of absolute decay.

One thing that I noticed, and that was pointed out to me by the guardian of this place, is that before the entrance there is a QR Code, which you can frame, and which practically links you to an audio guide, which explains a bit of the history of the place, it is very nice to use this type of technology, and also very useful I would say.

Then, since I had a little more time, I made a quick visit to the archaeological park of the Baia thermal baths, which is right on the opposite side of the lake, and here you can practically admire the remains of some dwellings and residences but also thermal complexes from the Roman era, this archaeological park bears witness to the Roman civilisation in these places, but it is also beautiful in terms of the environment and landscape, a place I must tell you that is little publicised, not only for foreign tourists but also for us Italians, in fact I repeat, every time I have come to the Naples area, I was not aware of this place, but it is always nice to make new discoveries.

After taking a tour around this park, my client finally called me and so I headed to one of the many restaurants that overlook this lake, for my appointment, but I hope in this short post to have taken you virtually with me, and to have shown you what I have seen and discovered, hoping that perhaps in the future it may be useful for you to organise a trip, here near Naples.

Thank you for taking the time and reading this post of mine, see you next time!
