We have so much fun at Baltic Sea, since one year we didn't meet our friends all over Germany and this time we meet here to make annual road trip with our old timers.
There is nothing more fun than traveling accompanied by nice friends. We knew each other since long time ago and we always meet yearly somewhere in Germany to travel together.
Today road trip is 44 km and our destination is Plöner See. It is a big lake near Baltic Sea in North Germany, you could see this location on steemit worldmap in the end of this post.
After have very good breakfast - like always - in hotel, we gathered in courtyard of hotel, which is a large park. There are our old timers always parked.
Short briefing, and we start to drive in convoy. Like usually, We are two peoples in one car, the one is driver and the other one reading road book to guide driver. We do not use navigator because we will passing beautiful unknown path while driving.
Why road book? we'll drive in convoy, right? There are times when we will be separated from convoy, for example because of traffic light, or somebody in front of us should stop by dying to pee haha...
About 75 cars... old timers...! we are driving slowly but not slow enough for smooth traffic for the other traffic participants.
That is beautiful day, sun shine brightly and warm, we drive with open cabriolet....
We drive across beautiful streets, vast farmlands, typical countryside of North Germany and long coast of Baltic Sea.
We also stopped at a parking lot to wait for friends left behind. That is, old cars can not drive fast 😆😆😆
Great Plöner See
Great Plöner See, or known as Plöner See is a largest lake in Schleswig-Holstein and tenth largest lake in Germany, it is 28 km² in southwest of Plön near Baltic Sea.
People can ride bicycles around this beautiful lake, swimming, camping, picnicking, sailing, or like us to board a ferry on the lake. Plöner Lake is a relaxing place for people from Hamburg, Kiel and Lübeck. Quiet and comfortable as it is located in the middle of national park.
Plöner Lake has many small ports to connect one village to another around the lake. There are some small islands here.
We enjoyed a wonderful day with friends.
