Sheep shaving festifal

Hello every body,

Every year, just before summer, the local sheep herd is organizing a sheep shaving festival.
They organize this especial for the children so that they come familiar a bit more with how things work in nature.

And the first one is out.

The local forest ranger is watching the process and telling every body what they are doing.

As you can see it was busy. A lot of families came to this event. it's a real families day out.

They also had a electric shaving machine but it was more educational for the people if they saw how they were cut in the old days.

And it is of. It almost looks like dreadlocks.

There is a stand were you can by your own sheepskin for at home in front of the fire place.

the local forest ranger is showing the kids how soft the sheep skin feels.

They also invited a woman who showed the people how things worked in the past. She brought here own spinning wheel and made some thread from the freshly sheared sheep.

It was a good event.
