On top of the dunes in Rotterdam the Netherlands!

This picture is made on the end of the second Maasvlakte in the Netherlands! A big new part of land that we reclaimed from the sea! 2000 hectare to be precised! Around that area they made a protection ring of dikes and dunes! To prevent it from washing away in the waves! And that resulted in a new beach and nature area!

the 2,000 hectares of space are for innovative, sustainable, deep-sea related port industry. Port basins, sea walls and infrastructure such as rail and road! And beaches, dunes and other nature areas!
