Lovely lovely visit here this week, getting in was simple enough even though the neighbouring farmer and some contractors arrived after me and set about lopping and shredding the undergrowth ( I wondered what the orange paint marks were on the saplings. Now I know),

I think they had quite a shock when I emerged out of the front door, and disappeared through the hedge never to be seen again!

Plenty of wonderful treasure from 1919 tax forms to 2019 Sainsbury’s sponge puddings!
