Greetings friends. The other day I passed by an area of my city that is very well known, the obelisk of Ibarra. I usually walk there a lot and it is a very visited place by everyone around here, but for some reason I do not know, I had not stopped to observe a mural that is in the vicinity of this area.

Saludos amigos. El otro día pasé por un área de mi ciudad que es muy conocida, el obelisco de Ibarra. Suelo caminar mucho por ahí y es un lugar muy visitado por todos por acá, pero por algún motivo que ignoro, no me había detenido a observar un mural que está en los alrededores de esta zona.

You could even say that it was hidden, because during these days it was hidden behind a pallet and there are almost always vehicles there, as it is an area where they unload things. However, recently I saw it again and I stayed to detail all the things it has. It is certainly beautiful and very well done, a work of art that, although not always seen, looks great in this area of the city.

Se podría decir que incluso estaba escondido, pues durante estos días estaba oculto detrás de una tarima y casi siempre hay vehículos por allí, pues es una zona donde descargan cosas. Sin embargo, hace poco lo volví a ver y me quedé a detallar todas las cosas que tiene. Ciertamente es hermoso y muy bien hecho, toda una obra de arte que, aunque no siempre se ve, luce muy bien en esta área de la ciudad.

According to the signature on the mural, the authors are part of the collective “ARTEIBARRA”. I did not find much information that I could verify about them: however I did find one of the authors who sign the mural, Washyny.

There is not much information about this work, although it is certainly beautiful. Nor do I know too much about the city to be able to identify references. However, in the mural you can see many details, so I will share them with you so you can visualize each and every one of the parts that make up this mural.

No hay demasiada información sobre esta obra, aunque ciertamente es hermosa. Tampoco conozco demasiado la ciudad para poder identificar referencias. Sin embargo, en el mural se ven muchos detalles, así que los compartiré con ustedes para que puedan visualizar todas y cada una de las partes que conforman este mural.

The truth is I don't know who is the character whose face was drawn, but surely it was a famous character from Ibarra; however I can't comment much about the character, but I can comment on the art that is involved in the drawn face, because the shadows and lights were used very well to give life to a drawing that technically is flat. It is beautiful art as well as all the other parts of the mural....

La verdad no sé quien será el personaje del cual se dibujó su rostro, pero seguramente fue un personaje famoso de ibarra; sin embargo no puedo comentar mucho sobre el personaje, sí sobre el arte que hay envuelto en el rostro dibujado, pues se utilizó muy bien las sombras y luces para dar vida a un dibujo que técnicamente es plano. Es un arte hermoso al igual que todas las demás partes del mural...
