Since I arrived in Buenos Aires I had the initiative to lose myself on purpose 😂 This is a gigantic city, it is necessary to use Google Maps to be able to go from one place to another, used it but also thought of the time where the internet did not exist. Then I asked people on the street through some direction and walked through many streets, this made me learn the names of many streets and avenues. To the point that today I know where many places are but still I must continue using the map.
When thinking about the title for this post I simply remembered the name of the avenues that cross each other ... Rivadavia Avenue and Entre Ríos Avenue, It is there right in this corner where the municipal congress and many other imposing, emblematic and historical buildings are located.
The Mill confectionery is in front of the Nation Congress building, If you walk a couple more meters you run with other concrete giants, wherever you look you will be appreciating the beautiful architecture of ancient Buenos Aires. Likewise, I think these two are the most important buildings in this area, especially between these two avenues.
The confectionery of the mill is one of the buildings that I have always wanted to visit, it is always closed and many years ago that it does not open its doors commercially. It remains thus all the time and only opens its doors in the tourist aspect, tours, guided tours, obviously you have to pay but more importantly is that it is not very frequent, So you have to be aware of the ads and buy in advance because tickets are exhausted very quickly.
How great, right? Being inside an Art Nouveau building that is almost 110 years old and appreciate each and every one of its spaces, details, reliefs and designs.
This is a view from the side side of this building on Entre Ríos Avenue. Look what beauty of balconies, it's like transporting over time.
I think Buenos Aires without these buildings would not be the Buenos Aires that falls in love with each tourist and resident.
We are going to finish this small tour with a random building, more focused on photography but that houses this type of architecture and antiquity under construction. An old building with a modern cafeteria on the ground floor
The last photo is a complete of this post, I could consider it as a bonus photo of the majestic building and main headquarters of the Bank of the Argentine Nation :)
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
