Hello folks! I'm still coming down from the high of seeing Coldplay in Mumbai! Seriously, January 19th, 2025, will forever be etched in my memory. I wouldn't have believed you if you told me a year ago I'll be singing out "Yellow" with 70,000 other people. Especially since I thought getting tickets was basically impossible!
Let's be real, the whole ticket-buying process was a mess. Remember how the internet basically broke down? BUT, my friend, managed to score us tickets!
Mumbai Magic
Even before we got to the DY Patil Stadium, one could feel the excitement in the air. Everyone looked happy, wearing their Coldplay merch, and just radiating good vibes. The stadium itself was insane β HUGE! Just seeing that massive stage setup, knowing what was about to happen, gave me goosebumps.
Music, Lights, and Moments
And then, the lights went down. The opening songs β "Higher Power," "Adventure of a Lifetime," β just exploded with energy. The LED wristbands everyone got lit up in sync with the music, and suddenly the entire stadium was part of the show. It was ridiculously cool.
Of course, the classics were the real tearjerkers. "The Scientist," "Clocks," and, oh god, "Fix You. I'm not ashamed to admit I got a little teary-eyed. Everyone was singing along, LED bands lighten up, moon googles on It just felt like this massive, shared experience. Like we were all connected.
Chris Martin really won over the crowd. He was trying out Hindi and Marathi phrases, which was so endearing. You could tell he genuinely wanted to connect with the city.
More Than Just a Concert: It Was a Memory
Honestly, the whole night felt surreal. It wasn't just a concert; it was an experience of a lifetime
If you ever get the chance to see Coldplay live, DO IT. Save up, do whatever you have to do. It's more than worth it.
Okay Bye! I'm going to go listen to "Paradise" on repeat and relive the magic.
Let me know what you guys think of it!
Till then goodbye!ππ»
