Have you heard of Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Street in Johor bahru? It is near to JB Custom. For many years, the old street still preserved the original appearance of the building design, with minor renovation and painting works. Therefore, there will be an antique feeling when we been there.

你们有听过新山陈旭年老街吗？它很靠近新山关卡。这么多年以来，这条老街还是保有原有的建筑物外观，只是有少许的装修和粉刷。所以身处于此地，会有古色古香的感觉。

Today I would like to introduce you a century-old banana cake bakery in this old street.
今天我想介绍你们一家位于这条老街的百年历史香蕉糕烘焙店。

Since our car is parked on another street, we have to walk some distance.
由于我们的车子停放在另一条街，所以要走一段路。

Many buildings retained their previous architectural design such as doors and windows. The current trend of mural painting works is also exist in the street.
很多建筑物都保留以前的设计如门窗设计。近来新旋起的壁画热潮，这里也是处处可见。

很有特色的一条街，能保有原有的设计和建筑风味，又增添新热潮壁画的概念。

There are also many good restaurants and cafes along the street.
这里也有很多不错的餐厅和咖啡馆。

Walked thru the road until the junction of the street. This is the main entrance of Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Street.

Hiap Joo Bakery is officially 100 years old this year. It is established since 1919. The people here loving it so much and queued for the best banana cakes in town.
就是这家百年历史的协裕烘焙店，也是新山人最爱的香蕉糕！

For the past 100 years, they have use the same method to bake pastries. It is a rare old-fashioned bakery shop in Johor Bahru.
一百年来他们都是用同样的方法烘焙糕点，是新山少有的百年历史老烘焙店。

The big box is priced RM10.00 and the small box is priced RM4.50.
大盒售价RM10.00，小盒售价RM4.50.

I bought a big box of banana cake. The bakery shop using hand cut method to cut the banana cakes for 100 years. The hand cut is very impressive as each piece is evenly sized, well done!
我买了大盒的香蕉糕。百年来，他们都是用人工手切方法来切蛋糕，每一片大小均匀，真的好厉害！

The bakery shop is using traditional wood fired wall oven ‘Century Old Bakery Way’ to bake the banana cakes and other pastries. The outer skin of this banana cakes is lightly charred, and maintain the moist fluffy and tender soft of the cakes. It is really first class handmade, delicious!
传统火碳烧烤的香蕉糕，真的味道不同。外皮有点香脆，里面蛋糕保有湿嫩。手工一流，好好吃！
