</figure></center>You never know what fate will bring. We arrived in Athens with 3 nights and 2 full days. We picked an Airbnb 3 blocks from the Parthenon. You can even catch a glimpse of it from the master bedrooms balcony… lol a real sliver. 🤓 
Anyway, before I get into our soggy first day. Have a look at the bedroom, antique vibes!

Make the best of what you get. We were not going to let flash rainstorms spoil our learning adventure. Instead we sheltered in a toilet for the worst of the storm and came out to a nearly empty Acropolis. Mom and Dad even scored some trash bags from the lady who protected the toilets 🤣
We looked silly, but we stayed dry ✊💪🏼

As we walked around the wet Acropolis I imagined what it must have been like 1000’s of years ago. People wearing robes and being thespians. lol, then I imagined how many tourists must come here in peak tourist season. Even today in the pouring rain, people were still wandering around taking in the culture!

Im using the Truuvl app from the travelfeed team to post this current post.
I’m loving that truuvl app is an app you can get from any App Store. It gives the Hive front end a Instagram feel. Great work by the travel feed team! 
It’s perfect for medium length posts.

They were doing a lot of scaffolding and reinforcing the Parthenon 🏛️
