Hi everyone!

We have reached the final post in my Lisbon series! Avenue 24 Julho was the southern most location I visited.

The area is mixed use with a wide variety of building types- old warehouses and storage facilities from decades gone by, a classic old indoor market currently being refurbished and a major working port. In stark contrast, brand new ultra modern buildings housing corporate offices are also found here.

This is a very lively area of the city, even if it is kind of tucked out the way, I can't see a reason for tourists to visit here besides going to the market.

Once the facade is removed from the front side it should reveal some very nice details once again, I'll just have to return to the city to check out the progress!

The...hill in the background is where the Miradouro Glória Funicular once operated to for a panoramic view over the city.

I also caught some demolition happening nearby!

Take care everyone, until the next time!
