I left my luggage at Ronny's house and went exploring Budapest by cycling. Sometimes, when bike-traveling, I like to spend some days in the cities. Walking, sometimes biking without panniers. And today was that day. Need to have some rest after finishing this part of my route. BTW, this is my first time in Budapest, and I want to visit the most popular tourist spots!

The weather was hot as yesterday, but if you can hide in the shadow from time to time, it isn't so deadly (like the previous days).

Visited Magrit island, parliament, Istwan basilica, Buda castle. No museums or other paid attractions - I'm low-budget traveller.

In the evening climbed the citadel hill, it seems to be the highest point in the city.

Budapest is comfortable for cycling, there are a lot of bike roads here.

Returned to my host's house. Talked with Ronny on various topics - he had a lot of travelling experience and lived in different cities. As he told, Budapest now is like Barcelona 10 years ago. When it was'nt so overcrowded by tourists. But it becomes more and more popular as travel destination...

День 7. Залишив баули у Ронні і поїхав гуляти по Будапешту. Я іноді під час подорожей влаштовую дньовки в містах. Іноді пішки, іноді на велосипеді без багажу.

Приємне місто. Я в Будапешті вперше, а тому треба встигнути побачити якомога більше цікавостей. Без музеїв і інших платних місць - я ж бюджетний мандрівник, але по максимум побачити все, що доступно на шару. Проїхав по набережній з обох берегів Дунаю, побував біля парламенту, в базиліці Іштвана, на острові Маргарити, біля замку Буда. Ближче до вечора виїхав на, здається, найвищу точку в місті - цитадель, біля монументу Свободи.

Пересуватись по Будапешту на велосипеді комфортно, майже скрізь є велодоріжки.

Пізно ввечері повернувся на квартиру Ронні. Поспілкувались на різні теми. Він каже, що Будапешт сьогодні - це як Барселона 10 років тому. На початку туристичного буму. Народу ще не так катастрофічно багато, але все до цього йде...
