According to mythology, the Pandavas used this route to go to heaven and Sahadev gave up his life here. This waterfall is surrounded by snow-capped peaks (like Neelkanth, Chaukhambha and Balkumbh) and lush green mountains, which give it a picturesque view.

To reach Vasudhara Falls, one has to trek about 6 km from Mana Village. The trek can be moderate to a little difficult as the path is rocky and steep at some places. The journey usually takes 2-3 hours (one way).

While trekking to Vasudhara, wear comfortable shoes and carry water, snacks and a first aid kit. The area remains closed in winters due to heavy snowfall. The time from May to October is considered the best to visit here, as the weather remains pleasant during this time and the Badrinath Yatra is also open. The weather can change anytime in the hilly areas, so it is good to carry warm clothes and a raincoat.
