Big update just went live on travelfeed.com. Quick heads up on what changed and what didn't.
Post pages and profiles got a full redesign, along with some other parts such as our front page and destination overviews that feature your posts. Not everything is on the new look yet but the main parts are live. Your posts deserved a better stage, that's why we started here.
The dashboard is staying exactly as it is, that's the plan. Feeds, editor, settings, all the same. We want to keep the familiar stuff familiar.
We are now fully syncing your Hive follows, so if you Have your Hive account linked on TravelFeed, anyone you follow or unfollow on TravelFeed, you unfollow or follow on Hive. Follows/unfollows that you make on other Hive frontends are synced to TravelFeed once a day - the first sync is running as this post is published. This means your TravelFeed account now shows your full follower count on Hive - plus any TravelFeed followers you have who don't have a Hive account yet.
Oh, and your post previews will now show you exactly how your posts will look like in the new design.
A couple things we need from you: if something looks broken, let us know. We've tested many different posts and dark mode vs light mode, but it's easy to miss something in such a huge update.
And honest take on the dashboard and feed: Do you agree to keep them the way they are, or would you rather have them redesigned down the road?
If if you would like any changes to the dashboard: Would you prefer a new editor, improve the existing one or keep the familar one the way it is? And should we work on improving AI Blogger with the latest AI tools, or do you prefer hand-writing posts anyway?
And for our TravelFeed Hosting subscribers: Do you like your blog the way it is, or would you like the option for new looks there too?
