Sports and not sports - Horseshoe Throwing Game

There is a whole lot of weird and fun sports. Or something that a sport wants to be considered but it probably not.
Is it a sport when you throw a phone at a distance or something named extreme ironing?
I do not know. Probably not.

Recently, when i was writing a post about the most cosmic cape on earth, it reminded me of such a discipline.

So below are a few photos from the games. A quite an interesting game - Horseshoe Throwing all in the cosmic town of Cape Canaveral.

It was just an ordinary afternoon.
I was invited to the local Horseshoe Throwing game at a nearby pub. How not to go. Whatever it is.

The pub turned out to be a nice little booth with a large yard.

Behind the booth was a playing field, several benches and quite a few people sipping beer.
Atmosphere sensational. They really looked on.

Rules and the gameplay seemed simple. On the other side of the pitch there is a rod stuck in the ground - throw it so that the horseshoe can be wound on it. In practice, I have not even managed to hit the rod even once.

The teams consisted of several players and each of them had their turn. Each of them had their own kick technique.

Each of the competitors also performed a different "dance" before the throw. So all this waving, going on, etc.

As I wrote it was not so easy.

To hit this horseshoe in this rod is a real art.
But They did not have any problem.
