When things went from bad to worse, that is when we knew it was time to head out for a monsoon flood photo shoot! Maybe a once in a lifetime opportunity to photograph the power of the monsoon here in South East Asia. Every year you know it's gonna be rainy in this part of the world, but not every year are you gonna see this kind of flooding. In fact here on this island the locals say this is the worst flooding in years and these photos were taken near the height of it. I got as close as I felt safe. Some parts of the island literally turned into a lake putting entire vehicles mostly underwater with roads blocked and unpassable.
