It's not a coincidence..
I've been visiting places in Taiwan for a week. Just a few days ago, I saw that @tasteem would be accepting the 'Wanna go get a beer?' reviews. A day after, I went with Taiwanese friends to the city called 'Kenting', a popular beach spot in Southern Taiwan. Oh man! It's raining!!! So we couldn't go to the beach but had to go do some indoor activity instead.
We went to the brewery for some beer..
That's not a coincidence!! It's a signal!
It's just going to be perfect for my 2nd Tasteem post!
Drink and learn at 'BREWSEUM'
Brewseum
Not sure if you could guess from just looking at its name but it's a combination of two things 'Brewery' and 'Museum'. I had no idea the brewery we're going would be this cool. It is sooooo cool!
I love how classic and simple the place is!
Oh! It's not that simple though. Look at Mona Lisa on the very end of the place and on the wall on the left hand side.. It's something more than you can see..
The wall is decorated with thousands of beer glasses! Yes! I know, super cool. The Mona Lisa painting is not really a painting or a photo. It's somthing else.. Once you get closer to her, you would see she made of different beer labels. Oops! There's no photo of it but you sure could see it on my video!
It was pretty quiet the day we went. Maybe cause it's almost closing time. They close at 6 pm! Actually, we got the place all for ourselves hahaha LOL
Oh! I also love how spacious the place is!
Antique Beer Toys
I'm not even sure if I could call it 'Toy'..? But hey, they all look so fun so that kind of make sense. This one was at the bar and my bad! I didn't ask enough to find out what it was exactly, Oops!
🍺 Beer Museum
This is where all the beer toys are. The beer containers, news, paintings, brewing equipments and all since long long time ago.
Isn't this one sooooo cool!!?? It's an old Asahi beer bottle label. Who doesn't know this popular Japanese beer? but who has really seen its old bottle in real life (Not on the internet, not in a photo..)
'Me!!!!'
This might be even cooler than the one above because it's the oldest beer can in the world. See the year! 1935 oh my!!
The news when beer was first legalized.. Can you tell what country it is ??
These are the ingredients to brew beer..
🍺 Brewery
Now let's get to the drinking part as that's actually something we went for.. Well, the museum was damn cool actually!
They offer both bottle beer and draught beer.
Hello there! We don't go to the brewery for the bottles, we go there for its draught ones!!
Not much of the collection they got at the time we went. Probably like, 4-5.. Yes, it was just 4! and that's totally more than enough for a small Asian to try.
** Asian flush
Approximately 36% of East Asians (Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans) show characteristic physiological responses to drinking alcohol that includes facial flushing, nausea, head-aches and tachycardia - Wikipedia -
Beer flight
It came with 4 types of beer and costed 300NT$ (9.75 USD). Good price, ain't it?
These were basically what we drank
Went there with this dearest friend, 'Beatrice'. Yes, she got Asian flush as well. We're scratching ourselves like Female Asian monkeys after a few sips LOLOL
Check out the place if you're ever in Kenting, Taiwan. It's a MUST!!!!!!!!
here is exact location of it!
Lots of lots of love,
Mo ❤
