Covid-19, is it thé killer Coronavirus?

Will it ever be remembered that way? I don't think so. The media do their best to keep us kind of updated, the fear is spread and with it FOMO.

Keep distance!

Reality showed something completely different.
How bad it is, the fear depends on where you live. In real life some people my rush out to buy toilet paper but they still go out, enjoy the beaches and forests because theme parks like the Efteling are closed and the lockdown is an extra holiday.

People still go to Germany to shop, visit the gas station or for a day out, shouted the media.

Those Germans living across the border tell a different story, hardly any Dutch people are seen, it is quite everywhere.

According to the Belgium "newspapers", Belgium people hate the Dutch policy but the reality is there are long rows at the border, people living in Belgium want to go shop in the Netherlands and are sent back.
True or a tale?

What do we know about this type of Coronavirus?

There are more variants and this is one of them.
It spreads, the travelers spread it and with us in the Netherlands the Carnaval revelers did. Not only the Dutch ones but Belgium and German too. We all cross the borders. The Netherlands is a small country and who lives close to a border visit abroad daily, works or even lives there.

If you once start counting it sounds like a lot. To me, it's not interesting how many get this flu. Each year many do. What interests me more is why it is suddenly counted worldwide. For sure the media made it worse and the influence of what is decided by politics. If you do not agree with the Dutch policy what stops you from staying home? There's no need for you to travel over here, be here with the 15,000,000 registration people we already have. Stay home or travel to another place if they still allow you to come.

What more do we know about this virus except it is spreading?
Nothing. It is all speculation. Is it made in a lab, did 5G cause it, did a bat bit someone, did the Americans produce it to kill or blame the Chinese?

If and how this virus will mutate and if animals can get it is speculation too.
I would say: use your common sense! Humankind is an animal, humankind is close to some animal species and animals have outbreaks of (Corona)viruses too.

What we should know.

The more people/animals live together the more chance to get ill of a pandemic!

If it comes to animals we clean up the entire stable. That is how we humans work, what we call humanity. Cows, pigs, chickens, all birds have to die and the plague is beaten.
I guess that is partly what we do now. We clean up the stable with weak and elderly people. They cost society money according to the lefties and the media raised a whole generation with this lie. It's not the elderly people that cost society a lot of money but the young people do. The biggest part is jobless, not in the mood to work, and the migrants are a heavy stone around the neck of a daily smaller working class.

Some facts

  • Everyone can get this virus (the youngest is 3 years old).
  • Everyone can cure (the eldest is a 95-year-old Italian lady. Might be she did not have Corona at but they put her in the hospital with the rest and she had no viral treatment).
  • The fact is elderly people get less care as children (70+ will not be taken to the hospital in the Netherlands).
  • The fact is in hospitals over 50% are young, (16 years old are present too), healthy people.
  • Fact (new fact) the biggest group is 55-59 years old which means a new risk group?

We know nothing about Covid-19 except it spreads.

How to beat it?

There's no way you can only avoid which means no contact with other people!
To some, it's hard to others it is not because that is what their daily life looks like. No or hardly contact with people.

Is it really too much asked to stay home for two weeks? You can:

  • catch extra sleep (I do instead of 4 am I get out at 7 am),
  • clean up your house or
  • finally, relax and do nothing! Do nothing for a change. Relax it is what most of us need. Many are close to a burnout,
  • watch all those films you never had the time for,
  • have contact with those you always told you are too busy to call or only typed three words to before Christmas,
  • invest in your relationships. Not only with your partner, children, family but your pets too.
  • start a new hobby,
  • practice drawing, painting,
  • read a book or
  • be on the internet.

Many of us have our home stuffed with all kinds of luxury, now is the chance to use and enjoy it all.

  • If you have a garden you can work on it.
  • Own business? Make a plan for what to do when this is over because it will. It will be over before you know and no one will ever mention it again because we all will build on a new economy (we are in an economic crisis for 15 years).

Might be we hear in ten or twenty years the truth behind this virus just like what happens with so many political scandals.

Yesterday's information (given around 2 pm).

True or...?
We don't know since it's the media who keeps us updated and I lost my faith in them long ago. They love to brainwash and since the past years, their writing style changed into what we read in gossip magazines. It has nothing to do with journalism.

What the Dutch government decided.

After the busy days on the beaches and in the forest it was clear many did not care. The Dutch government followed into Belgium's footsteps.

  • 1.5-meter distance from other people (exception family living in one house and children playing outside on the street),
  • elderly people staying inside (some supermarkets are open for elderly only between 7-8 am)
  • you are not allowed to be with more as 3 outside on the street (a distance of 1.5 meters) or have more as 3 guests in your house (a distance of 1.5 meters),
If you do not follow the rules you get billed for max 400 euro.
  • Schools are closed and probably remain closed till next school year starts (August/September)
  • Pubs, restaurants, snack bars are closed (catering, delivery at home is allowed),
  • All shops/organizations/professions which have to do with body contact are closed (hairdressers, physiotherapy, sport, etc),
  • The rest of the shops are open but many close.
  • If it comes to shops one customer/10 m2 is allowed,
  • No celebrations (exception weddings and funerals).

I don't know about other doctors but mine plus the other 7 in the village are closed (they work together in one building). You are only allowed to call.
Note: In the Netherlands, you are not allowed to go to hospital or call an ambulance without the agreement of a doctor.

What you can do.

  • Keep distance, take care of yourself and your personal hygiene and get enough sleep and exercise.

The Dutch expert says wearing gloves in the supermarket is not necessary. You will not get it from the items or the shopping cart that easily.

Really? If that's the case why do we all wash our hands and buy disinfection?

Another fact: supermarkets (selling everything) and online shops are blooming. Mail is not disinfected.

My personal situation.

At this moment I am stuck in one country with my youngest two and my daughter is in a different country. We are separated by two countries and each country has its own rules and lockdown. We doubt we can leave/cross the borders but if so and we can travel through the neighbor countries there won't be a way back for probably months. It's possible not before the next winter starts.
We decided the best thing we can do is stay where we are. We are safe and have no contact with other people..The only people we meet is if we go to the shop. We stay in touch like we always do online and arrange what has to be done in the same way.

The government's policy is to slow down the virus. Slowing down is not the same as fighting it. The autoimmune system has to do the fight and I doubt it can if there's no contact.`

What I believe.

This virus came right in time.

  • It will solve many political issues.
The bigger the pandemic the more hands are shaken and people are willing to reach out to each other, cooperate.
  • Freedom is taken away in name of the virus.
No demonstrations, no "free the tree" or "free Billy" or equal rights, etc. No pollution issues and talking about Brexit, Nexit or migrants either.
  • Online life will increase
We will no longer hug, kiss, touch people and keep a distance. If not you get billed for 400 euro or more or go to prison (our prisons are empty so we have room). Who knows an ankle bracelet or chip for all of is nearer as we think.
