What's a HUDA MARKET?

A huda market is the most basic market that is located in almost every sector in a particular city in India. So lets say a particular city can have 100 sectors in it which are like typical US society blocks. Almost every sector has a huda market of its own to cater to basic needs of people living around. The market has a tailor, an electrician, a computer shop, a supermarket, vegetables vendors, the milk shop, barbers, medical shop and anything basic survival requirement that can come to your mind. Some markets are small, while others are big enough to have a few restaurants and fancy clothing stores. Today I will show you around one such market, its a big one - Sector 23,Gurgaon , India.

Sector 23 market has everything from something small as a needle to something as big a quilt to offer. These markets are more popular for the open little shops that are staged only in evening time. Reason being sun is not out there as its very hot here and most of the people go to market in evening times.

The table shops

When I say open shops set on a table, I mean something like the little cute earring shop below:

See how pretty and colorful the whole setup looks. I bought these below pink feather beauties from there for 1$, I totally love the color

Interesting Vendor

This vendor sets up a stall on a matt for earthen pots and plates. They have very pretty plates, bowls, pickle boxes, vegetable boxes in multiple sizes. I really loved the designs on the boxes and the shades are lovely as well.

I bought the below one because of its cute shape and the color combination of blue & white gives it a little Italian looks :D in just 2$

Shop & Hop

Apart from that, you can buy clothes and footwears from open vendors. Not that the clothes are old, they are brand new, cheap in prices and good in quality. Yes, when I say good in quality, I mean it :) .Although the footwears are somewhat compromised in quality, they are comfortable but durability is not that much. Its just helps girls in loading up their collection and wearing different pairs with different outfits.

Indian Super Market

And then the Indian Supermarkets which are like any supermarkets. The one I visited is a small one though, I just did not want to stand in billing queue for one item I went for.

I bought this roasted snack from Jabsons, my mother is crazy about it. I came to market for this specially since I had to go home on Saturday.

To show you around

This is how the surroundings looks. Not too clean, not too dirty, not too crowded. After two hours from my visiting time, it would be crowded enough because 6-7 pm is the most pleasant market time for locals.
