Hello friends!
I invite you to a small trip to the shore of the Gulf of Finland, which took place last weekend. The weather was excellent, although a bit windy. We had a small picnic on the beach.
What do you know about the Russian city of St. Petersburg? There is a beautiful architecture, the Hermitage, fountains of Peterhof. I will show you places where there are no tourists! The right bank of the Gulf of Finland, from the skyscraper Lahta-Center to Zelenogorsk - one of the most beautiful places in the city. Residents of the city rest here. Here are built the most beautiful and expensive villas.
This is part of St. Petersburg, its resort area, which stretches about 80 kilometers along the bay. Previously there were Finnish settlements. The old names of the villages were the melodious names of Kuokkala, Terioki
In the early 20th century - it was an elite resting place for the St. Petersburg beau monde, scientists, artists, writers and poets.
I boast a little .... My parents had a country house here when I was a child. The smell of the sea and the pine forest, the cries of seagulls for me are the native things that cause the most pleasant childhood memories.
We decided to go to the beach in the Repino area, the village where the great Russian artist Ivan Repin lived and worked.
Repino has a beautiful coat of arms, which shows the artistic palette, wave and pine
These places are familiar to us. We knew that next to the highway there is parking for cars, garbage bins, and also equipped paths for approaching the beach. There is a small forest between the highway and the beach. The forest is picturesque, with bilberries, pine needles and cones on the ground.
We found wild lilies of the valley in the forest.
And other forest plants
In this place there are many people who have a rest. There is a volleyball court, a playground with simulators, paths for which you can ride a bicycle.
A little more, and ahead of the beach.
The trees parted. We saw ahead of the beach and water.
There is a small river that we crossed over this board.
This is how the beach looks. It was the same in my childhood.
And this is a seagull
We spread out things and cooked sausages on the grill.
Birds are used to being fed. So they started to ask us for food.
Seagulls were the most brash. They stood nearby and shouted for food
One seagull began to fly above us. It was like the angel came from heaven :)
And this seagull found a large piece of food, and tries to soak it in the water.
We were on the beach all day. We inhaled fresh sea air and burned in the sun. Well, I took a picture.
Cheers
