Last year, one of the main pedestrian streets of Burgas - "Aleko Bogoridi", was completely renovated.
The main motive in the new look of the street is the preservation of its romantic character, entwined in the preserved historical buildings, as well as the enrichment of its artistic spirit.
Let me show you some of the main characters on the street: "The Gramophone", Mosaic "Map of Old Burgas" and The sculptural composition "Via Pontica".
The Gramophone
Gramophone is one of the symbols of Burgas and is located on the oldest larch of Burgas - Bogoridi Str. The gramophone, made by the artist Rusi Stoyanov, is metallic and reaches a height of about 2m.
Among the old citizens of Burgas, it is said that when you turn the gramophone lever and listen carefully, you will hear the name of the person who is in love with you.
Mosaic "Map of Old Burgas"
Map of the history of the city - the streets and historic buildings that have survived to this day.
The mosaic is made of different types of stone, granite and marble.
The sculptural composition "Via Pontica", which prepares passers-by for the connection with the Bridge.
The composition of a little boy and birds, perched on the water effect, reminds the story of Nedyalko Yordanov "The boy who speaks to the sea". Birds are heron and pelican, which, like the child, are made of bronze.
Thank you for stopping by!
