Today with @outlinez and other friends we decided to cycle to Kraimorie before the big cold that is coming these days.

Kraimorie is a quarter of city Burgas and a resort village on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It is situated in the Bay Chengene Skele about 10 km south of the city center and 20 km north of Sozopol.

We crossed the Poda Protected Area.

We stopped at the Temple St. Pimen Zografski.

An interesting fact is that for many years in Kraimorie there was never a church, and now there is one of the most beautiful temples in Bulgaria.

The Orthodox temple was completed in 2011. At the foundation of the temple there is a stone from Sveta Gora.

The bells have an automatic computerized beating system that can be programmed to sound, power and melodies. The church is unique in that there is a fragment of the Saint Cross.

The crypt has incredible acoustics. The temple is equipped with a special balcony for a church choir - an emporium. The iconostasis is a true work of wood-carving art and the work of Tryavna masters.

This is the only temple in Bulgaria, named after the great Bulgarian St. Pimen Zografski, restoring Bulgarian churches through Ottoman rule.

Last year, in the area of Kraimorie began building a boat pier. A northern and southern safety buna will be built in the bay area.

With my friends today we had decided to check the construction works and go to the bay.

They were still building and we quickly had to leave the area.

Then we got to Cape Kafka where we had a short break.

We headed back to Burgas and passed through the city center.

Enjoy the New Year's decoration.

Today we bicycle 27 km. and I managed to do 13K steps with Activity tracking App - Actifit.

Activity from Strava.
