Dear Steemians,

Today I’m going to introduce you to Paris (France). I went a couple of times to Paris and I must say that the city never gets me bored. Paris is a city that never sleeps: every day, there is something to do. It is a very big city, fortunately you can travel by metro.  


Eiffel Tower



I think everyone knows the Eiffel Tower. That tower never gets me bored.  


Galerie de Lafayette 



In Galerie De Lafayette, you can do some luxury shopping. It's also really fun to just look at all those luxury things while visiting this impressive mall. Pro tip: If you go all the way up, you get a magical view over the whole city.


Hôtel des Invalides

This is where Napoleon is buried.


Louvre

One of the largest museums ever. You can spend a whole day in this museum. Some people love it while some people are getting bored after a couple of hours in the museum. It’s unlikely that you see every single painting, sculpture, clothing, .. in the museum because it’s just so much. Pro tip: Buy your tickets online. 


Quartier Latin

Lovely to visit. In Quartier Latin, you can feel the student vibes. You can also go there for a good dessert!  


Le Jardin des Tuileries 

This is a beautiful garden, especially in the summer. If you're in Jardin des Tuileries, don't forget to visit "Place de la Concorde".


Notre-Dame

Beautiful from the outside and from the inside. But as you might know, the entrance is closed now because of the fire in April 2019. 


Centre Pompidou




Beautiful museum of modern art that you must visit. For more information about the collections, visit: https://www.centrepompidou.fr/en/lib/Museum. 


Arc de Triomphe
Once you’re there, the shops are nearby. 


Sacré-coeur


Beautiful basilica, if you go there, you also get a memorable view over the city. If you visit Sacré-Coeur, make also sure that you visit Montmartre, the Moulin Rouge and certainly don't forget "Les Murs de je t'aime".  


Things you should buy in a local bakery

1.  Meringue -You can find it in a lot of different colors and tastes!

2.  Macarons -You can find it in a lot of different colors and tastes!

3.  Croissant

4.  Baguette 

Especially Meringue and Macarons are a nice gift for your family and friends.
