How's it going Steemers ??
I would like to share with you a cool spot I went to for a beer and played some pinball on the weekend called Pincadia.
Retro gaming and pinball is making a comeback in Brisbane and we now have 3 venues that cater to the retro gamer.
- Netherworld
- 1UP
- Pincadia
Pincadia is in Woolloongabba right cross the road from the Gabba cricket grounds.
And hosts 5 of the top 7 player rated pinball machines
including Twilight Zone. Theatre of Magic. Star Treck. The addams Family and my favorite of the top 7 Medieval Madness
All up there is 21 pinball machines available to play.
Pincadia also hosts a bar and food menu, so we had some beers and a burger then had a great time playing the pinball machines.
One of the classics is The Simpsons pinball party
This game is a lot of fun! Also they have 2 Star Wars pinball machines. And the night before i went a saw the new Han Solo movie so I was in the Star Wars zone haha.
One is the latest starwars by Stern
This games features multiple missions and has super fast game play. So your reflexes better be on point.
And the other one is the older Star Wars from Data East.
Now this was my favourite pinball machine in the building ! The game play and mission are a lot of fun! And it's a high paced game. And what was really cool is to get the multi ball feature you have to hit the Death Star 3 times to activate the multi ball feature.
Now down stairs of the venue is another bar and some old school arcade machines.
This venue is super cool, it must be over 100 years old and be heritage listed.
So if your ever in Brisbane and looking for something to do I highly recommend going to Pincadia to check it out. It is family friendly so is great for the kids aswell ☺
