This morning Eva brough us some delicious breakfast (pancakes!). Shortly after, we left the house and took the metro to the Hudson Yards. Our first sight was the vessel, a newer edition to NYC's iconic sites. It never gets boring to look at the different buildings and new sights of the city's skyline. The closer you look the more details you can see in architecture, diversity of styles or how human and nature live in this space. It was quite windy today but we were lucky that it was no longer rainy.

Next we started walking on the High Line, which used to be an elevated cargo route for moving goods (i.e. food) from the then more industrial downtown towards central station for shipping or distribution. A decade ago, the neighbourhood decided to turn this train track into an urban public garden. There are many beautiful views you can enjoy along the track.
We stopped for some strawberries topped with lots of chocolate, which was delicious. However, we still were hungry for some real food and after another 20 min walk we reached Chelsea market; a previous industrial place turned into a busy food paradise. We opted for the place where most people were queueing, assuming it is the best indication for tasty foods, which prooved to be a winning strategy.
In every borough, the atmosphere slightly changes. We enjoyed live jazz music at Washington Square park. While there remains lots to be seen and explored in this neighborhood, we only had energy left for a dessert before we headed back to our apartment to stretch our legs and do some homework.
