The first Graffiti mural I encountered in Moscow was not in a very good shape. Sadly, many parts of it have been defaced and some bits are totally ruined. There are all kinds of tags and scribbles over the drawings... even so, there are a few good parts to be appreciated.
This is located at a parking lot, so I couldn't capture the entire mural in the same frame. I tried to take shots from several angles, but as you can see, the cars made it impossible.
I took a few overall shots of the whole piece and in all of them, most of the drawings are hidden. Here's a good shot to see the top center image, of a girl looking out from a window.
It's such a soothing image, isn't it?
I took a close up shot of each part of the mural, so you can better see the details of these drawings. Some are calm and cool, others are more lively and fun. But overall, these Graffiti have seen better days.
It seems like the above drawing was partly destroyed in 2017...
In the next image, you can see the other parts of the mural. There's the face of a girl at the left, a crazy bird at the center and two funny characters on the right.
Let's see them one by one.
Here's the girl's face, with a lot of extra "make up" that someone decided to add, a few years down the line. Rumours say, she was losing colour. I can't confirm or deny those rumours. 😂
The crazy bird doesn't seem very happy. Does he? Looks like he's not coping very well with the passage of time. 🤔
This couple of creatures was my favourite. Two souls happily dancing together, without a care in the world! 😳
I found this mural right next to a really awesome looking hotel, named Sleepy Tom.
The old car by the entrance gave it some charm... and the sign by the tree, a bit of inspiration for the day ahead. It reads:
- Захвати кофе а потом мир (Seize the coffee and then the world)
I think that changing two letters would make it a lot funnier, then this sentence would be:
- Захвати кот а потом мир (Seize the cat and then the world) 😂 😂 😂
