Hello Steemitverse!

I am browsing my feed and saw this contest of @aaronli called, “A City A Story Photo Weekly Contest”, which is about GODS. Luckily, I remember I have some photos in my gallery from our last visit at Lucky Chinatown Walk in Binondo, Manila.

Lucky Chinatown Walk is the center of every Chinese festival and celebration, such as Chinese New Year. This place also showcase their belief and tradition in which I saw this life size “Three Stars Gods”, namely FU LU SHOU.
FU represents happiness and prosperity, while LU is for status and authority, and SHOU for health and longevity.

The Chinese Buhhda or Budai was also present.

To be honest, I don’t know much about Chinese religion but I have some Chinese friends and told some things about their culture, and it is so good to witness this kind of things how they honor their Gods and saw this colorful celebration of the year.

Also there are other Chinese decorations like money tree and lantern, as people walk trough the famous Lucky Chinatown Walk here in the Philippines.

The best time of the year to visit this place is February in which the Chinese New is celebrated, this venue is so alive with the food festival on the street, fireworks at night and the traditional Chinese dance presentation, plus the mall and market are just around.
