Some Things Travelgirl Like About Austria

As I filter photos for my blogging, I have found bits and pieces throughout our trip in Austria and there is a reason why I have taken these photos. Either it was something I really need to get or show my other half while he was on the other side of the store or take a picture of something that caught my attention for no reason.

First up, I always find something cool to eat or drink at the supermarkets. Like all cities, I love visiting the supermarkets. But the prices fo their goods seems to be a fraction of the prices in Australia. Take the pickled vegetables an example, we don’t get that variety and on top of that, it actually tastes nice. I feel like the European does these jar veggies a lot better than those in Australia.

Cool drink & packing. Just look at the one below. Yep, this drink has been out for some time and its a big hit due to the tiny amount of hemp in the drink that makes it legal. It is made in Austria and the drink container is made from hard cardboard on the outside. Look at that price! 89c Euro! Less than $1.50AUD!

Why does UberEats in any other country be so much better than in Sydney? Look at the amount of food, the variety we were able to get in Austria. We also had a good experience in Prague & Krakow with UberEats - definitely a winner there.

Cheaper Lego was found in Austria. The variety there seemed to be more than some other cities we have been to this time and the price was slightly cheaper than in Australia and we get the tax back on top which made it more attractive. Due to limited luggage space, we were only able to bring 1 set back.

Lastly, I love the way you can pre-purchase parking tickets ahead of time in Vienna. We rarely drive in the city and the countryside you don’t need to pay for parking. One of the locals saw us and gave us a ticket and told us to fill in the info and put it in front of our dashboard. Saves time, convenient and most importantly is transferrable.
