Hi Everyone,

We decided to visit Seagull in Clouds because we heard from a local that it is a nice destination that many local people visit when they have time. It was a short drive from the main town into the woods and was told try to go just before sunset so you can see the city with nice lighting. It was originally built for a resort but then it has slowly become an attraction for the locals.

Once you park your car at the bottom like everyone else, you have to walk on a path for around 10 minutes uphill to the park. If you have little ones like us, it is highly recommended to bring your stroller as the walk will be pretty painful while carrying your babies and most importantly, all the way up the structure itself which you will see later in this blog.

We finally close and we saw some cute little houses that look like small mushrooms …. just like the smurf houses! As you can see so many people around taking pictures before the sunsets. Our mission is to get to the top of the structure before dark so we can see the sunset with the city in front of us.

You need to purchase a ticket to enter the structure. There are also opening times for those who want to visit.

The structure was very pram friendly so we push our strollers up with ease. It is quite a walk but you will forget about it as you would enjoy the view as you walk up.

This is the view from halfway. The sun is slowly setting!

Yep, this is what you think it is. A slide from the top! Instead of walking down the way we came up, you have the option to use this slide to go all the way down in a few seconds. I was a bit of a chicken plus had the kids so only the boys did it. The guy below mans the slide to make sure everyone slide down safely.

We are at the top! Look at that view! Stunning! There is also a net in the middle to allow people not scared of heights to go on it and take a picture. I was on there and it was freaky! My little one had his leg caught and was stuck for a few minutes before we could get him out. Scary but it was supposed to give you a “carefree” experience. If you are Bojnice and have a car, do consider coming it. It was definitely a nice stop to end our Bojnice visit.
