Hi Everyone,
Another cute place I want to show you from Bojnice is the surroundings at Bojnický Dvor. Bojnický Dvor is a restaurant we had lunch during our visit but it's like an enclosed area with a few cute shops.
Outside of the Bojnický Dvor, there are many shops lined up selling local gifts as well as many stuffed animals because the zoo is not far away. As we talk towards the main entrance, you can see so many colour umbrellas hanging from the tree. It was just so pretty with the sun shining on the yellow leaves with the colourful colours swirling around.
There are more shops selling cute handmade items, trinkets and some selling local delicacies. Due to the timing we were visiting, it was low season so many shops were not opened for business. The huts were just so cute. They are all different and reminds me of Smurf houses except with hay looking roofs. See all the firewood chopped up in between the two houses? They are getting ready for cooler weather. When we visited, temperature was around 10 degrees during the day and can get to 1 degrees overnight. Have you also noticed the beautiful colours on the leaves. Autumn leaves are just stunning when the afternoon sun shines on them.
Here is the restaurant where already comes. We chose to sit inside as it was pretty cold but those sitting the sun felt warm while having a nice pot of warm soup from the restaurant. If you are in Bojnice, make sure you take some time to visit this nice little area.
