Hi Everyone,
After going through the side streets of Kremnica, we finally see the Main Square of Kremnica. As you can see, the weather was beautiful, the sky was clear and a patch of nice green grass in front of us. Our little ones were so excited as they have a bit of a run around. As we were there on the weekend, the square was pretty quiet. All the shops along the surroundings are closed except for a few cafes which were pretty empty therefore we had the square to ourselves!
Right in the middle, there is a monument where you cannot miss. It is the centrepiece of the square. Just across from it, there are a line of shops and cafe which were closed. There was plenty of parking which I would think would be pretty busy during peak season.
Just on the side, you can see The Church of St. Catherine which I will introduce in my next blog. The church is a must-see when you are in town. As you can see from the pictures, the cobblestone pathway continues around the square. Not too pleasant if you are pushing a stroller around like us.
Here is a model of what the square looks like where can be found right inside the park. It was actually quite interesting to see it from a different angle. It was such a lovely visit in particular there was no crowd and with the lovely weather, we had a relaxing afternoon at the square.
