Traveling the World #146 - Visit The Side Streets of Kremnica with Travelgirl

Hi Everyone,

After leaving Bojnice, we decided to explorer the surroundings of Kremnica. Kremnica is a small town in Slovenia with only a few thousand people living there. Before checking out the main square, we have to park on the outsider side as walk inside as it was a better route from our Airbnb. The streets were quiet and finding a park was not too difficult.

First, we had to go through this arched building and the top and around it, there was a nice mini statue of two guards. I’ve seen this from another blog so we knew we were going to the right direction. We see cobblestone floors again so we were deciding if we should bring the strollers and we ended up taking it as we knew there will be some walking involved.

As we were visiting on a weekend, the tourist information centre was unfortunately closed. There weren’t really many tourists around which we suspect why they didn’t open during low seasons.

Just across from the info centre, we saw this monument. It was an interesting piece and it felt like it was showing us a story from different angles. If you walk around the town, there are many things you can see that shows the history and culture of the area. If you are in Kremnica, do take some time out and enjoy your surroundings as the things outside of the main square (which I will introduce next) was also very interesting.
