Visit Postojna Cave @ Slovenia with Travelgirl

During our time in Slovenia, we visited Postojna Cave which was an amazing experience. I was glad we ended up joining the last tour of the day as I don’t think we will ever visit something so stunning again. After our visit to the butterfly exhibition, we went straight to the lines for our cave tour and boarded a cool non covered train which goes through the cave which we ride on for around 8-10 minutes going 3.7km into the cave. You can only visit the cave with a tour guide so it is best to book your times and tickets online. It was pretty cool inside so it is recommended your bring enough clothing to keep you warm as the tour does go on for 45 minutes or so.

It is also the largest show cave in Europe so if you are in Slovenia, you really need to plan your visit. The lighting was pretty dark inside so I couldn’t get many great footages due to the low lighting and we were not allowed to use any flash during the whole visit. The whole family had a great time and had a great experience.
