Welcome to today's Weekly Travelfeed roundup brought to you by @for91days.
I think for many traveling by train is one of the best ways to get around. You have tons of room, can walk around, eat at the board restaurant and take in the scenery, which is constantly changing. We're tarting this weekly round-up with a train ride to Kanchanaburi in Thailand. Next we're going up very close to a camel In Jordan, almost too close some might say. And the last feature who won one of our TravelFeed Sunday prices is an article about a temple in the Himalayas.
Please note - we are still in search for one more curator to cover a day or two a week. If you are interested, please contact us on discord (kindly find a link at the bottom of the page). Now let’s get reading!

The 1st Place
Kanchanaburi by train with Mystery girl [Day 1] - Kanchanaburi, Thailand
written by @beforeyoupack
We arrive early with 30 minutes to spare. We buy our tickets. The price for Thai people and foreigners is different. If you are Thai, the ticket will costs you only 25 baht, but foreigners have to pay 100 baht! That is a big price difference. But the price difference when entering National Parks are even bigger, where foreigners have to pay up to 300 baht. Meanwhile Thai people only pay 30 baht.
The 2nd Place
Bedouins don’t make friends for money
written by @helgalubevi
I had never seen a camel so close. I saw it at the zoo, it's true, but never so close that I could touch it. Arriving in Al-Khazneh, or "The Treasury", one of Petra's most famous monuments, there are camels and Bedouins inviting tourists to take a ride everywhere. A ride of about one hour can cost you something close to US$ 70, which means, in my case, it is necessary to write a lot of content to give yourself such an eccentric gift. Traveling on a budget, definitely, the camel ride would stay for another time…
The 3rd Place
HIMALAYA: A road trip on the roof of the world
written by @digi-me
The Himalayas – the land of snow and magnificent monasteries. Stunning scenery and the home of the highest mountain in the world. Without no doubt one of the most remarkable places I have visited. I did a road trip across the Himalayas from Lhasa (Tibet) to Kathmandu (Nepal). To make sure everything was taken care of, including group visa to Tibet and all permits, the tour was booked through an agent in Kathmandu. After four days we left Kathmandu on a one hour flight to Lhasa.
