Welcome to today's Weekly Travelfeed roundup brought to you by @mrprofessor and @for91days.
The year is coming to an end, but we at TravelFeed are not slowing down. In case you missed @jpphotography 's announcement presenting the frontend of our Travel dApp, please check it out. This is our big goal: a great standalone travel platform made by travelers, for travelers, whether or not they're Steemians. Please stay tuned for more announcements concerning the dApp on our Discord server.
Please note - we are still in search for one more curator to cover a day or two a week. If you are interested, please contact us on discord (kindly find a link at the bottom of the page). Now let’s get reading!
Three BEST posts of the week
A quick recap - For the weekly round-up, we feature the best 3 posts out of the ones previously featured in the daily topic curation posts in the past week and on top of that 10 honorable mentions that closely did not make it into our resteems last week. The rewards will go to the first three places as follows: 1st place - 3 STEEM, 2nd place - 2 STEEM and 3rd place - 1 STEEM.

The 1st Place
Vestfirðir, the western fjords of Iceland - Part I
written by @saunter
Continuing the journey along the fjords we reached one of the most interesting abandoned gems hidden in Iceland. It is a wreck of the ship Garðar BA 64. At that time we didn't know that this is the oldest steel ship in Iceland - it was built in 1912 in Norway, and found itself in Iceland after the Second World War.
The 2nd Place
Canadian Rockies: Wells Gray Provincial Park, the waterfall wonder.
written by @ladybug146
We still knew absolutely nothing about this place aside from it had 39 waterfalls. As far as photogenic, well, probably not today but we made our first stop to look at maps, trail guides and features of the park posted at the rest stop and pick a more specific destination. We generally come a little better prepared than this with actual physical trail guides to take with us because much of these remote places have no internet or phone signal.
The 3rd Place
Travel diaries day 2: Tbilisi - the colorful capital of Georgia
written by @ctdots
After only two stops on a metro everything seems to change, even though people are still plenty, they change a lot. The closer you get to the Old Town of Tbilisi the more tourists you see, walking at a much slower pace, looking around and taking pictures every two steps. The city is very colorful and makes you feel like you are in a tale. On every corner, stands a playful sculpture, interesting building or just a random artifact asking for an investigation.
We hope you have enjoyed these posts. Please do visit the fellow Steemians’ accounts to learn more about their travels!
