Welcome to today's Weekly Travelfeed roundup brought to you by @for91days.
And another week has already flown by! Half of the Travelfeed team is still recovering from SteemFest and we're a bit slower than normal to return to full swing. STEEM prices are plummeting right now, but as a reminder, you're receiving a tradable currency as a reward for your articles and nobody is forcing you to sell immediately. Just wait and see how the market develops. Considering that not even a year ago, STEEM prices were up by twenty times compared to now. Create great content, get rewards and sell when the price is right. Speaking of high quality content, the following #travelfeed submissions are the winners of this week's round-up and will be going home with prizes of 3, 2 and 1 SBD.
Please note - we are still in search for one more curator to cover a day or two a week. If you are interested, please contact us on discord (kindly find a link at the bottom of the page). Now let’s get reading!
Three BEST posts of the week
A quick recap - For the weekly round-up, we feature the best 3 posts out of the ones previously featured in the daily topic curation posts in the past week and on top of that 10 honorable mentions that closely did not make it into our resteems last week. The rewards will go to the first three places as follows: 1st place - 3 SDB, 2nd place - 2 SBD and 3rd place - 1 SBD.

The 1st Place
The Namib Desert – an otherworldly landscape
written by @digi-me
Namibia has one of the oldest deserts in the world. Some of the highest sand dunes in the world. One of the hottest deserts on earth, and driest eco systems in the world. Sossusvlei is a large ephemeral pan situated in the Namib Desert, within the Namib Naukluft National Park.
The 2nd Place
Once upon a time, in Poland...
written by @alexazapiec
Just a month ago I've joined the great community of Steem, and shortly, 2 weeks after I had the pleasure of attending such an amazing event as Steem Fest, Kraków 2018. Once again, thank you, everyone, for your positive energy, passion and super-friendly approach.
Today I will tell you about our trip to the Russian city of Kazan. Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is part of Russia. In the 5-6 century ad in this territory was the state of Volga Bulgaria, which was then captured by the troops of Genghis Khan. The age of Kazan is more than a thousand years.
We hope you have enjoyed these posts. Please do visit the fellow Steemians’ accounts to learn more about their travels!
