Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed Australia & Oceania roundup brought to you by @for91days and @rimicane.

Today we offer you to climb the steep track of the Mt Cooroora. The last bit of the track is challenging but the view is breathtakingly rewarding! Then try a beach and sand dunes walk on the Northern tip of New Zealand - Cape Reinga. Again, the scenery and the surroundings are enjoyable and relaxing. And if that is not enough nature walk for you, let’s go to the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park in Tasmania. It is a world heritage area and it is a peaceful place with the wonderful views of the peaks, lakes and rainforests. See if you can spot a wombat!

We were told that it is not an easy climb and you really need to be fit. If you look closely on the photo above you can see a little bit of the hiking track.

Travel: Life is a desert of shifting sand dunes
written by @guchtere

We already noticed these extraordinary dunes on our way up north, but now on our way back to the south you keep seining those dunes. Really strange in a totally green area, there are those gigantic sand dunes like they came out of nowhere.

Mismatched Travel Diaries - Tasmania -
Mountains, Lakes & Wombats.

written by @danedebeau

We had only seen a few cars since we had turned off the main road and the loud African rock music I was blaring wasn't doing anything to quell the sense of unease at the thought of having to backtrack an hour or so to find somewhere populated, or to get decent phone reception.
