Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed Asia roundup brought to you by @jpphotography.
Asia is home to an amazing variety of different cultures. Today, we are featuring three posts that take us to three culurally and historically significant places around Asia: Ayutthaya, just north of Thailand, was once the capital of a huge empire, just like the city featured in the second post: Kyoto, the former capital of Japan, is popular for its photogenic temples. Finally, we make it to Beijing, a city that still plays an important role in world politics today and is home to the temple of heaven.
Three BEST posts for Asia

Inday Clara travels Solo #31: AYUTTHAYA IN A DAY!
written by @indayclara
I should have researched more about Ayutthaya before going there! To be honest, I only learned about this place when I asked my friend, Ace, when I got to Bangkok. He told me I could check out this travel destination for just a day. And boy, was he wrong!
Bathed in moss Honen-in Temple
written by @kocinka
The rainy season in Japan is really wet and starts when spring turns into summer. In Tokyo, it begins in early June and lasts until the second half of July. This is the time of year when the moss grows lush and green. Mosses are one of the most primitive terrestrial plants but they are deeply rooted in the Japanese way of life.
I had flown from Japan a couple hours earlier, leaving behind a world of neatness and composure. Beijing, as I could see once I stepped outside the airport, was on the opposite end. Swearing at the hellish traffic around us, probably swearing at me too, a taxi driver rushed me to my hotel where I met with my parents, still in shock over a similarly moody driver.
