Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed Asia roundup brought to you by @for91days.
Welcome to our Asia weekly round-up. This week, all of our favorite Asia posts come from the eastern half of the continent. We'll start with an article shining the spotlight on the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. Next, we'll hop over to Turkey for a visit to the ancient Greek city of Ephesus. And we'll close things out with an article about a camping trip in Iran.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - the pearl of ABU DHABI
written by @lashotta
Its construction lasted almost 12 years, covers an area of 22 412 square meters. The initiator of the construction of the temple was Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan, called the Father of the Emirates - the first president of the country, holding this position for 33 years. Unfortunately, he did not see the temple opening - he died in 2004, three years before the planned opening.

The city owed its fame to the Temple of Artemis, (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World) the Library of Celsus, and a 24,000-seat theatre. St John is also believed to have spent the last years of his life there. Further, the House of the Virgin Mary is located a few kilometres away.
We had a bus ticket for Amol at 7:30. Tehran is the Capital of Iran and it's very crowded. That time in the morning is the time when most people go to work so there was traffic in nearly every street. We had to get up early. We did our best and woke up at about quarter an hour to 6. Said our prayers, packed our things, ate breakfast and left the house for bus terminal
