This weeks' Travelfeed Asia will be focused in the South East. Let's start in Malaysia where @yourmate takes us around Kuala Lumpur and provides tips from transportation to sighsteeing. But this isn't your regular travel guide, he also shares his personal insights about the city and his life as a digital nomad.
Let's move north to Thailand where 2 things usually come to mind: adorable elephants and pristine beaches! @travelling-two shows us around a sanctuary for elephants in Kanchanaburi. Is it a place that really helps elephants or is it just another tourist trap? Check out their review.
Last but not the least, @supernovastaffy gives a detailed itinerary for a day around Phuket. From world-renowned beaches to monkeys hanging on a cliff wall, there's so much to see and do in Phuket.

On the bright side, along with wealth, development and education comes actual trash management and cleanliness in general. Also different cultures live seemingly peaceful amongst each other and many things work better than in the SEA average I have seen so far.

Firstly, there are many elephant sanctuaries in Thailand dotted around places like Kanchanaburi and Chiang Mai. They have mixed reviews on Trip Adviser, Google+ and generally through word-of-mouth about how legit these businesses are and how they treat the elephants. Sam would like to think he did his research and found an Elephant Sanctuary that is an actual sanctuary and not some circus show or a work camp.

Monkey Cliff is located very close to Pileh Lagoon and is exactly what it sounds like. We stopped close enough to the cliff so we could take a few photos without getting too close so we wouldn't disturb them too much. It was amazing to see them up-close sitting in crevices and on tree branches all along the cliff wall.
