Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed Africa roundup brought to you by @for91days and @rimicane.
For the first part of the journey, we invite you to take a look around the Kasbah Hotel Xaluca Maadid in Erfound, Morocco. Beautifully arranged rooms, dancers greeting on arrival and facilities, such as gym and pool will satisfy any travellerâs needs.
And for the second part of our journey, we are off to the desert. Sahara, Ait Ben-Haddou village with a fortification protected by the UNESCO and Dades Gorge are all the destinations we have to visit in one day. It is going to be busy!

To appreciate this room, you have to appreciate the details. The large sink and countertop are both made of fossilized stone. The fossils, estimated to be 500 million years old, are embedded in the sink and countertop.
Day 1 - Ait Ben-Haddou, Morocco (DLive video)
written by @daveonarrival
It is a ksar, which is an earthen village with a fortification around it used by the Berbers centuries ago. This is one of the most well-preserved and most attractive ones still standing making it a popular tourist destination.
